Day 16: While daddy's away...
Jill send me a few pictures this morning of Eila while I was getting ready to teach.
(Side note: class starts at 8:40, which is early for college these days—I got there at 8:15 and there was already a student there. Overachiever!)
Day 15: Zzzzzzz
I came home from work to this sweet sight today. Jill had gone over to see our friend Anne (and Perry) who have a new daughter Iris. It was fun but tiring and both of them needed a nap. I like how they both have their hands to their mouths (Jill doesn't usually do this but maybe she's taking after her daughter...or something).
As sweet as Eila looks in this picture, this was the last sleep she's had in a while—she hasn't wanted to sleep during her other nap times today despite various combinations of swaddling, changing, singing, bouncing, shhhhhh-ing, leaving to self-sooth, etc. etc. Strong and independent!
Day 14: Daddy's home!
I got back this afternoon from Vancouver and swooped in to give Eila a hug (Jill got one too). We had fun reading a book together!
